League Two side Mansfield Town reject £750k bid from Championship side Preston North End for promising winger CJ Hamilton, who has been impressive this season.

About CJ Hamilton –

CJ Hamilton joined Mansfield Town in June 2016, after he was released by Sheffield United at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.

The pacy winger made 41 appearances in all competitions last season for Mansfield Town as his caused endless problems for every defence he came up against.

CJ Hamilton is tipped to become Mansfield Town’s first £1 million player. Manager David Flitcroft has done a fine job in harnessing the talents of this exciting prospect.

In the summer, CJ Hamilton signed a new two-year contract with the League Two club. The club also has an option to extend the deal with the 23-year-old former Sheffield United player.

Preston North End have beaten MK Dons, Millwall, Wigan, Peterborough United and Portsmouth to sign Exeter City striker Jayden Stockley.

Jayden Stockley was a journey man before moving to Exeter City for a club record fee as he had loan spells at eight clubs, including Torquay United, Leyton Orient, Woking and Accrington, followed, before he finally made his mark in his last at Exeter City in the first half of 2016, before joining permanently from Scottish side Aberdeen in August 2017.

Jayden Stockley has scored 16 times already this season and has been rumoured for a departure in the transfer window.
